Job summary

HealthAlliance Hospital is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse to perform assessment, planning, implementing, evaluation and supervision of patient care across units. The role includes teaching and discharge relief charge responsibilities as needed, following standard policies and procedures.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate or B.S.N.) and current NYS RN licensure.

Qualifications

• Provide direct patient care with assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Ability to teach patients and discharge planning under supervision.
• Maintain standards of care, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and supervise patient care across units.
• Teach patients and discharge planning as relief charge when needed.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Associate diploma or B.S.N.

Experience

• Minimum of 6 months – one year medical surgical hospital experience required, previous OB experience preferred

Training/License

• N.A./Current NYS Registered Nurse

Other

• BLS, ACLS, NRP, EFM Training required within 6 months of employment.
• Certification in inpatient obstetrics and EFM certification preferred.
