Job summary

BAYLOR SCOTT & WHITE MEDICAL CENTER, MARBLE FALLS TX in the LABOR & DELIVERY department is hiring a Registered Nurse for full-time daytime shifts. The role involves patient assessment, care planning, education, and collaboration with the care team to ensure safe, efficient delivery of obstetric and neonatal care.

Candidates must graduate from an accredited nursing program, hold an RN license, and obtain BLS within 30 days of starting.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Must obtain BLS certification within 30 days of starting.
• Obstetrics experience required (labor and delivery).

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed nursing assessments and develop care plans.
• Monitor labor and delivery progress and respond to emergencies.
• Educate patients and families about care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff.
• Ensure documentation in EMR and compliance with Texas Nursing Practice Act.
