Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Marble Falls seeks a Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts in Labor & Delivery. The RN will perform patient assessments, develop and execute care plans, and coordinate with the care team to ensure safe, compassionate maternity care.

Position offers 1:1 labor and 1:3 couplets care, with access to an LDRP unit, dedicated OR and recovery area, and a supportive team focused on high-quality outcomes within a maternal health program that emphasizes safety and

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs.
• Create, implement, and evaluate care plans; adjust plans to reach desired outcomes.
• Educate patients, families, nurses, and community members about health needs.
• Delegate tasks based on condition and team competencies and ensure safety and quality of care.
• Work with the team to develop care plans and coordinate with physicians and ancillary staff.

We have our own L&D OR and recovery area. Texas Ten Steps, Maternal Level 2 designation, Neonatal Level 1 and follow AWHONN staffing standards.

Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse, oversee patient care using a professional practice model. Responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses. Secure patient travel. Know about patient needs in healthcare. Help patients and prevent issues. Follow the Texas Nursing Practice Act and delegate tasks based on condition and team competencies.
