Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day nursing functions of LPNs, MACs and CNAs on designated units.
• Provide resident care including assessments, planning, treatments, medications, and care documentation.
• Communicate with physicians and nursing leadership regarding resident status and shift activities.
• Make rounds with physicians and document care and treatment as indicated.
• Review and transcribe physician orders and ensure execution.
• Coordinate resident activities and inform staff of new admissions.
• Complete medication pass audits and report discrepancies.
• Maintain required forms, records, and reports.
