The incumbent collaborates with the Nursing Director to ensure regulatory compliance and delivers person-centered care, involving residents and families in care decisions while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in South Dakota in good standing.
• Prior geriatric nursing experience is desirable.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessment and care planning for residents, including MDS processes.
• Handle admissions, discharges and transfers paperwork.
• Plan, organize, direct and facilitate clinical operations for the household/neighborhood.
• Collaborate with Nursing Director to ensure regulatory compliance and person-centered care.
• Support resident and family engagement to promote quality of life and optimal care.

We also have comprehensive medical benefits, dental and vision insurance, flexible reimbursement plans and more!The Nursing Supervisor completes assessment care planning for the residents on the household/neighborhood, which will include the MDS process and care planning process. The Nursing Supervisor will complete admission, discharge and transfer paperwork. The Nursing Supervisor will participate in planning, organizing, directing, and facilitating the clinical operations for the household/neighborhood. The Nurse Supervisor will work with the Nursing Director to ensure regulatory compliance, nurture a person-centered and resident-directed culture, strengthen the ability of the household to grow as a separate effective home and promote individual and team learning in the household. The Nursing Supervisors will collaborate with residents and their familiesto achieve optimal care residents. They will provide excellent customer service at all times for the facility and maintain flexibility to meet a constantly changing work environment.QUALIFICATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERICENCE REQUIREMENTS:1. Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of South Dakota is required; must be in good standing through the state nursing registry; degree from an accredited school of nursing required.3. Prior experience in geriatric nursing is desirable.4.
