Job summary

• Be able to obtain a DHS Nurse Trainer Certificate within three months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Review medication records, orders, and MARs; monitor regimens.

Summary

The RN Nurse Trainer at Envision Unlimited is responsible for evaluating and addressing the medical, health, and safety needs of clients in host family residences. Essential Responsibilities

• Document client-specific medical needs and interventions to provide client progress notes.
• Monitor all aspects and review client medication regimes, including medication records, orders, bubble packs, and MARs.
• Conduct caregiver and staff medication training as well as skills observation on an ongoing basis.
• Respond to all telephone calls, emails, and messages 24/7 and provide appropriate nursing/medical directions as needed.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No supervisory responsibilities.
