We are seeking a Day Shift Nurse Supervisor to join our team!

Hospital Details

Gateway Rehab, located in Florence, KY, is a 40-bed inpatient rehab providing rehabilitative services to people recovering from disabilities caused by injuries or illnesses. We help our patients regain their physical or cognitive abilities so they can return home at their highest level of independence. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the delivery of efficient, high-quality patient care. Manages personnel, and coordinates nursing service activities for the scheduled shift, in accordance with hospital philosophy, objectives, and policies. Works with staff and management to develop systems and procedures for daily operations, providing training and support to meet objectives.

Required Skills

• Diploma or Associate of Science Degree in Nursing required.
• Current, valid, and active RN license in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Critical care experience preferred.
• Three years of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• CCRN and ACLS certifications preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image and knowledge of regulatory standards.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
• Working knowledge of relevant computer applications.
• Free from illegal drug use and effects of substance use in the workplace.
