Job description

Mount Carmel Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Manchester, NH, is seeking an experienced Nurse Supervisor for the 3pm to 11pm shift to join our management team. We are a 120-bed facility offering short- and long-term care in a warm, supportive setting tailored to individual needs. This is a full-time, second-shift position, Monday through Friday, 3pm to 11pm.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks following established policies, procedures, and standards of care.
  • Receive and give reports to licensed nurses and LNAs/LMNAs at shift start and end.
  • Conduct clinical rounds on assigned units multiple times during the shift.
  • Recognize emergencies, assess needs, implement interventions, and communicate with the nursing supervisor.
  • Perform controlled substance counts at shift start and end, complete and sign the Narcotic Book, and report discrepancies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident care information.
  • Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses, Nursing Assistants, and Medication Nursing Assistants.

Requirements:

  • Current RN license in New Hampshire.
  • Experience in long-term care and management.
  • Professional interaction with physicians, residents, families, staff, and community members.
  • IV Certification.
  • CPR/BLS certification.
