Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing monitoring of patients requiring observation and short-term medical management.
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating care as appropriate.
• Manage oncology-related symptoms and treatment side effects such as pain, nausea, dehydration, fever, electrolyte imbalances, and anemia.
• Educate patients and caregivers on symptom management and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team across pharmacy, case management, social work, nutrition, and physicians.
• Maintain accurate documentation adhering to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
