Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and eligible for Idaho RN licensure.
• The NR Program includes training, assessments and mentorship during three months.
• Must meet core nursing competencies and departmental policies.
• Current BLS; ACLS, PALS within 12 months of hire.
• New nurses welcome.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and care planning.
• Provide age-appropriate nursing care across neonatal to geriatric patients.
• Monitor outcomes and report to physicians and care team.
• Educate patients and families for self-care and safety.
• Mentor nursing students and novice nurses.
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance per Joint Commission and hospital policies.
