Saint Clare's Health in Dover, NJ seeks a Nurse Supervisor for the Behavioral Health unit. This full-time role requires oversight of nursing care, coordination with leadership, and ensuring high standards of patient safety and outcomes.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, implementing policy, and maintaining 24-hour capability to provide care for adults and older adults. Must hold an active RN license, BLS, and a BSN per 2021 requirements; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS on hire and maintained.
• Minimum two years supervisory/management experience.
• BSN required for all hires after 1/11/2021.
• ACLS Provider Certification preferred.
• Five (5) years Psychiatric Nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Program Director in implementing the philosophy and objectives for Behavioral Health.
• Supervise/coordinate all nursing activities to achieve and maintain efficient and competent nursing practices.
• Evaluate performance of nursing personnel and nursing care and suggest modifications.
• Oversee the provision of patient care for adults and older adult patients.

Responsibilities

Twenty-four hour responsibility to supervise, coordinate and evaluate nursing care in the Behavioral Health unit, in accordance with the Registered Nurse Practice Act, Standard of Practice and facility policies and procedures. Collaborate with the Program Director in the implementation of the philosophy and objectives for Behavioral Health. Supervise/coordinate all nursing activities to achieve and maintain efficient and competent nursing practices and promote harmonious relationships among personnel supervised, medical staff, patients and internal customers. Define and prioritize goals for self and subordinates. Evaluate performance of nursing personnel and nursing care and suggests modifications. Oversees the provision of patient care for adults and older adult patients.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Must have a current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS upon hire and maintain current.
• A minimum of two years supervisory /management experience necessary.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), required for all hires after 1/11/2021.
• Current ACLS Provider Certification preferred.
• Five (5) years Psychiatric Nursing experience.
