This role combines clinical expertise with strategic leadership to shape the department’s future and support staff growth.

You will monitor staffing, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture aligned with MercyOne’s mission and values, delivering exceptional patient care and experience.

Qualifikationen

• BSN required or actively pursuing BSN with completion expected within 3 years of hire.
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, including at least 3 years in nursing leadership.
• Current Iowa RN license; Illinois RN license required if practicing in Illinois.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, Mandatory Reporter.

• Lead day-to-day departmental operations and uphold clinical practice standards.
• Oversee safe, high-quality delivery of clinical services and staff rounding.
• Develop and implement CQI plans; address safety events and incident reports.
• Collaborate with physicians, staff, and leadership to align with MercyOne values.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and evaluate team members; support staff development.
• Manage budgeting, staffing, and resource utilization to balance care quality with financial stewardship.
• Promote patient-centered care and a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
