Job summary

Embassy Healthcare in Middleburg Heights, OH seeks an accomplished RN to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants. The role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local standards as required by the Director of Nursing.

You will direct day-to-day nursing operations, ensure policy adherence, review procedures, and participate in care planning and interdisciplinary conferences to maintain high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess current RN license in the state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must have leadership and supervisory ability.
• Must be able to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret programs for quality care.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nurses and nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
• Ensure that all nursing personnel assigned to you comply with the written policies and procedures established by this facility.
• Periodically review the department’s and unit’s policies, procedure manuals, job descriptions, etc.
• Meet with your assigned nursing staff and support personnel to plan shift services, programs, and activities.
• Ensure Nursing Service Procedures Manual is current and reflects day-to-day nursing procedures.
