Salary Range: $59.13 To $86.54 Hourly
Under general direction, plans, organizes, directs, conducts, and evaluates clinical education programs; assist in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating the overall clinical education programs of the KPC, Inc.; and performs other related duties as required.
This one-position class works under the Chief Nursing Officer and is assigned full responsibility for all clinical education programs. The Clinical Staff Educator must utilize independent judgment and considerable initiative in implementing the clinical education and activities. Supervision received by the incumbent is typically limited to departmental policy guidelines and declared objectives of the clinical education program. Ensure timely staff competency validation, mandatory education and regulated by compliance. RN Educator would help address identified performance caps, standardize clinical practices and support corrective action plans.
Minimum of three (3) years acute care experience as a Registered Nurse and experience in providing and conducting clinical education programs in a hospital setting.
Possession of Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university. Must be a Registered Nurse (RN). Master’s Degree in Nursing is desirable.
Must possess and maintain a current valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
