Job summary

Skilled Nursing of Horseheads is seeking a CNA Program Instructor (RN) in Horseheads, NY to join its clinical education team. The instructor will work with the Program Coordinator on presenting curriculum and coordinating clinical training.

The ideal candidate is a registered nurse with at least two years of nursing experience, including one year in long-term care, and has taught adults or completed an adult education course.

Qualifications

Must be a Registered Nurse with at least two (2) years of nursing experience.
Minimum of one (1) year in a long-term care setting.
Experience teaching adults or have completed a course in adult education.

Responsibilities

Teach lecture and lab content for CNA program.
Coordinate clinical training and supervision of course participants.
Supervise students on units during clinical experiences.
Collaborate with Program Coordinator on curriculum presentation.
