Job summary

Bay Cove Human Services seeks a dedicated Nurse Consultant (RN) to join the Developmental Services team in the Greater Boston area. You will provide direct nursing care, monitor health care needs, and help individuals access appropriate health services.

You will supervise LPNs, deliver health-related training to staff and clients, and ensure compliance with health documentation and MAP procedures. This role emphasizes advocacy, leadership, and collaboration with clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN license is required and must be current.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and use of personal vehicle for work.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to individuals within assigned caseload.
• Monitor health care needs and facilitate access to quality health care.
• Train staff and individuals on health care topics and documentation.
• Supervise LPNs within the caseload.
• Serve as on-call nurse on a rotating schedule.
