Qualifications

• Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school
• License: Current RN license in our state or can be obtained within 90 days
• Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years in Cath Lab or Critical Care
• Comfortable with providing sedation and monitoring patient's vital signs during procedures. Teamwork is essential.
• Certifications:
• ACLS
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or can be obtained within 90 days
• Note: Additional certifications may be required based on the position/unit or certification within the department within the required timeframe
• Other: Must reside within a 30-minute radius of Mercy Jefferson as an on-call requirement

PRN Requirements

• Must work 36 hours in a 6-week period
• One-third of shifts must be on weekends
• Holiday Requirement: One winter and one summer holiday
