Elderwood is seeking an RN Nurse Aide Program Instructor at Elderwood of Uihlein in Lake Placid. This regular full-time role requires a NY RN license and provides a salary between $81,510 and $111,540 per year.

Formación

• Current NY RN license and registration to practice.
• At least one year of experience in a long-term healthcare facility.
• Experience providing in-service education or clinical teaching.
• Proficient in medication administration, assessments, documentation, and change-in-condition management.
• Willingness to accept resident assignment and work as cart nurse when needed.
• Ability to teach, coach, and mentor staff at different experience levels.
• Strong teamwork with frontline staff and leaders.
• Proficient in EMR and LMS systems.
• English language proficiency for safe care.
• Preferred BSN or related bachelor’s degree.

Responsabilidades

• Lead orientation for new hires and onboarding.
• Deliver nursing education and competency testing.
• Coordinate CNA and Support Aide orientation programs.
• Direct clinical practice and medication administration.
• Maintain education calendars and LMS records.
• Support regulatory compliance and ongoing education.
