Job summary

Medical City Arlington is seeking a Registered Nurse Float Pool to cover night shifts with rotating weekends. You will deliver professional nursing care across a critical care setting, perform assessments, and apply the nursing process to guide care decisions.

You will hold an RN license (Associate or Bachelor’s in Nursing) with ACLS and BLS certifications. We value 2+ years of acute care nursing with a preference for 1+ year in critical care, with the hospital offering comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• ACLS within 6 months of start date.
• BLS within 30 days of start date.
• RN license as Registered Nurse.
• Degree: Associate or Bachelor’s in Nursing.
• 2 years Acute Care RN experience required.
• 1+ years Critical Care experience preferred.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Float Pool RN delivers professional nursing care to all patients in a critical care setting; performs assessment of patients, follows standard of care utilizing nursing process for care delivery; maintains accountability for professional decisions & actions; assumes charge position as needed

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
• 2 years Acute Care RN experience Required Years of Experience
• 1+ years of critical care experience preferred
