Job summary

St. Tammany Health System in Covington, LA seeks a RN for Non-Invasive Cardiology at our new outpatient center.

The role focuses on delivering patient-centered care, supervising licensed staff, and coordinating with the cardiology team to ensure efficient, accurate diagnostic services. You will assist with stress testing, transesophageal echocardiography, cardioversion, tilt-table testing, Holter monitoring, bubble studies and EKGs, while upholding safety, documentation quality and compassionate

Qualifications

• Current LA RN licensure
• BLS and ALS certifications required
• ILCOR-accredited course with manikin check-off
• Experience with non-invasive cardiology procedures preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for a group of patients within designated times using the nursing process
• Supervise LPNs, aides, technicians and clerks involved in patient care
• Assist with non-invasive cardiology procedures and monitoring as listed in the job summary
