Job summary

Ventura Services Florida in Okeechobee, FL seeks an RN Supervisor for full-time night shift (7pm–7am) with rotating weekends to oversee nursing staff and provide direct patient care.

You will supervise day-to-day nursing activities, ensure compliance with federal/state/local standards, participate in admissions/transfers, and mentor nursing assistants. Florida RN license and CPR certification required; 1–3 years supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

****Signing bonus of $10,00.00 to be paid out $2,500.00 incrementally every 90 days.

RN Supervisor- Full Time-Nights (7pm-7am) Rotating Weekends

Essential Duties Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to the residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.

• Such supervision must be in accordance with current Federal, State, and Local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility.
• Confirm that all nursing personnel assigned comply with the written policies and procedures established by this facility.
• Meet with your assigned nursing staff, as well as support personnel, in planning the shift’s services, programs and activities.
• Make nightly rounds of the Nursing Department to ensure that all nursing personnel are performing their assignments.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents as required.

Job Requirements:

• One (1) to three (3) years related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Must have a current/active CPR certification.
• Possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN in Florida.
