Job summary

University Nursing Center, operated by American Senior Communities, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate geriatric care on Evening 2p-10p (part-time) and Nights 6p-6a (full-time) schedules. A $12k sign-on bonus is offered for eligible FT RNs, with prorations for PT positions.

RNs will build meaningful relationships with residents, applying nursing skills to support physical and psychosocial well-being while upholding CARE values across Indiana.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Demonstrates CARE values to residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop meaningful relationships with residents and staff, using nursing skills to promote physical and psychosocial well-being.
• Utilize clinical judgment to assess, document, and respond to changes in residents' conditions.
• Coordinate care with the nursing team to ensure safe, effective, and holistic resident care.
• Support a positive and respectful work environment through teamwork and communication.
