Job summary

SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift. The RN will assess, direct, and provide nursing care during hospital stay, coordinating with diverse disciplines to support patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, plan-of-care development, medication administration, safety and infection control, and patient education. Requires Missouri RN license and BLS HCP certification; benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Licensed to work as a Registered Nurse in Missouri.
• BLS HCP certification required.
• RN license active in Missouri or via Compact State.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessment and reassessment.
• Develop and implement plan of care with goals.
• Administer medications accurately and monitor IV fluids.
• Collaborate with health team and provide handoff reports.
• Ensure safety, infection control, and patient education.
• Mentor staff and students as assigned.
