Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.

• NHISS (Stroke Scale) certification within 60 days of hire and maintain.
• Previous acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator management experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct patient/family teaching and supervise nursing staff within the Custody Unit.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians, including monitoring and diagnostics.
