Job summary
Starlite Recovery Center in Center Point, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate care for adults receiving residential and outpatient treatment.
This role requires graduating from an accredited nursing program, an active RN license, and at least one year of nursing experience, with CPR and behavioral health competencies encouraged.
We offer mentoring, a favorable night-shift differential, and a supportive team dedicated to holistic recovery.
Qualifications
- Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
- Must possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license as required by the state of employment.
- One year of nursing experience; psychiatric/behavioral or substance abuse nursing a plus.
- CPR and de-escalation/ restraint certification required (training available).
- First aid may be required per state/facility requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans.
- Maintain medical records and educate patients and families about conditions.
- Ensure orders are legible and documented per policy.
- Assess patient status ongoing and communicate changes to physicians.
