Job summary

Starlite Recovery Center in Center Point, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our residential treatment team. You will assess patients, develop nursing plans, and provide compassionate care across medical and behavioral health needs.

The role includes a night shift (6:00 PM–6:00 AM), a 3x12 schedule with rotating weekends, and mentoring opportunities to support growth within a supportive, Texas hill-country campus.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in state of employment or eligibility to practice nursing.
• Minimum one year of nursing experience; psychiatric/behavioral/substance abuse setting a plus.
• CPR, de-escalation and restraint certification required (training provided on hire).
• First aid may be required by state or facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and families about conditions.
• Transcribe physicians’ orders accurately and document status changes.
• Notify physicians of significant changes in status or emergencies.
• Complete admission and discharge processing efficiently and accurately.
• Demonstrate universal precautions and maintain nursing standards.
• Communicate professionally with patients, visitors, and staff.
