Job summary

Manchester Memorial Hospital, Inc. is seeking a registered nurse for a 24-hour night shift (2-12s) with every other weekend and holiday commitments.

The role involves coordinating patient care across interdisciplinary teams and delivering age-appropriate, patient-centered nursing care within the Connecticut licensure framework. New hires may qualify for a new hire bonus; successful candidates must maintain BLS/ACLS and pass NCLEX within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with a current licensure in the State of Connecticut.
• Must have certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire or receive certification within the new employee orientation period and maintain clinical competency during employment.
• New Graduates must pass NCLEX within 90 days of graduation date.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide high quality direct and indirect patient-centered care.
• Coordinates patient care by collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
• Communicates patients' clinical condition and responds quickly to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development to provide age-appropriate care.
