Job summary

Manchester Memorial Hospital, Inc. in Connecticut is seeking an RN for night shift coverage (2-12s, 24-hour night). The role coordinates patient care with the interdisciplinary team and communicates changes in the patient’s condition.

Every other weekend and holidays are included in the shift pattern. New hires eligible for a bonus position; nurses must be licensed in CT and maintain BCLS/ACLS, with NCLEX completion required within 90 days for new graduates.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with a current licensure in the State of Connecticut.
• Must have certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire or within orientation.
• New Graduates must pass NCLEX within 90 days of graduation date.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide high quality direct and indirect patient-centered care.
• Coordinate patient care by collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
• Communicate the patient's clinical condition and respond quickly to changes in condition or treatment.
