Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate nursing care, educate patients and families, and support care transitions. The RN will work within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Practice Model, providing leadership through coaching, quality improvement, and collaboration across shifts.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS/ACLS as applicable, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program and RN license.
• Evidence of BSN within five years from RN start date.
• One year of RN or Mayo Clinic LPN experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and computer skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, holidays, weekends.
• Current RN license; BLS (ACLS if applicable).
• Additional state licensure or specialty certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and patient/family education.
• Support nursing practice across settings and continuum of care.
• Provide leadership through preceptor and quality improvement activities.
• Delegate patient care based on skill, acuity, and resources.
• May drive personal vehicle as part of the role.
