Job summary

UCHealth Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, CO is seeking a part-time RN to join the Acute Care MedSurg Chest Pain unit on nights. This 0.5 FTE position involves 24 hours per pay period and requires a nursing degree and RN licensure.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and commitment to safety and quality. BLS/CPR certification and 6 months RN experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• Minimum 6 months of RN nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Prioritize wellness and evidence-based practice in care delivery.
• Precept and mentor new staff and students during orientation.
• Maintain safety and quality standards at the point of care.
