Job summary

Genesiscareers in Cheat Lake, West Virginia, is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shifts to provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in a long‑term care setting. You will perform nursing assessments, collaborate with the care team, and develop individualized plans of care for patients with complex diagnoses.

The role requires a graduate of an approved nursing program and an active RN license with CPR certification.

Qualifications

Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing.
Currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
CPR Certification is required.

Responsibilities

Perform nursing assessments and collaborate with the nursing team, other disciplines, patients, and families to develop effective plans of care.
Establish realistic, measurable short- and long-term patient goals with interventions to minimize rehospitalizations and evaluate outcomes.
Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
Delegate patient care responsibilities to staff and supervise them to ensure interventions are implemented.
Communicate patient information with assigned staff and between shifts.
