Job summary

Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Nursing Float Pool. You will float to multiple departments within the main campus and sister facilities, providing and coordinating patient care during the nursing process, with a focus on safety and quality.

The position is full-time, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts (7pm-7am) and rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• BLS & ACLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Two years of hospital bedside care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
