Job summary
Pinnacle Specialty Care in Cedar Falls, IA is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for Full-Time or Part-Time evening shifts (2PM-10PM). Join a 100-bed skilled nursing community and provide compassionate nursing care to residents in a team-focused environment.
You will administer medications, monitor residents, and collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, and providers while upholding safety and regulatory standards. Iowa RN license and CPR are required; care initiatives offers competitive compensation, benefits,
Qualifications
- Valid RN license in good standing in Iowa.
- Current CPR certification.
- Knowledge of federal/state long-term care regulations.
- Strong empathy, respect, patience and discretion.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
- Support daily clinical operations on the unit.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
- Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes in status.
- Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, providers, and other team members.
- Communicate with residents and families regarding care needs.
- Document care to meet standards.
- Follow infection control, safety and compliance protocols.
