McLaren Health Care in Bay City, MI seeks a per diem night-shift nurse for the Float Pool. The role involves collaborating with physicians to implement care plans and providing bedside nursing care while supervising support staff.

You will evaluate care effectiveness, participate in discharge planning, and mentor new staff, with opportunities for professional growth in a hospital setting.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current nursing license to practice in Michigan.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS within one year of transfer.
• Complete basic dysrhythmia course.

Responsabilidades

• Provides bedside nursing care and carries out medical orders.
• Delegates to and oversees Nurse Assistant, Patient Care Associate and other staff.
• Collaborates with physician to plan a care plan for return to health.
• Evaluates effectiveness of the care plan.
• Leads patient conferences and coordinates discharge/transfer planning.
• Precepts/mentors new employees and students.
