Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to provide exceptional care for neonates. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling high-risk deliveries and supporting breastfeeding, along with expertise in managing complex neonatal needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide breastfeeding support and manage breast milk handling.
• Care for neonates greater than 34 weeks and those 29-34 weeks, stabilizing infants for transfer if necessary.
• Manage UAC and UVC lines, as well as ventilator care including AC, PC, SIMV, CPAP, BIPAP, and PEEP.
• Monitor and assess patients in a Level II NICU setting.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of previous charge experience preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
• Must have a valid RN license.
• Current BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required.
• Experience with a patient ratio of 2:1 during both day and night shifts is required.
