Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week NICU assignment in Dallas, Texas. The role requires active Texas or Compact RN license, 1+ year NICU experience, and BLS/NRP certifications. Shift is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with 12-hour shifts.

Weekends may be required and a resume plus supervisory references are requested. The RN will coordinate patient care for NICU patients, implementing individualized plans and evaluating outcomes to prevent complications, under the Texas Nursing

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of NICU experience required.
  • Active BLS certification required.
  • Active NRP certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient care delivery in the NICU using the nursing process.
  • Assess patients, identify nursing diagnoses, and develop an individualized plan of care.
  • Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans as needed.

Description:The RN is a licensed professional who coordinates patient care delivery.The focus is on specific patient populations and health conditions.Using the nursing process, the RN assesses the patient and identifies nursing diagnoses.The RN develops and implements an individualized plan of care.Evaluation of the patient's response is a critical component of care.The RN utilizes knowledge of patient needs and the healthcare environment.Assisting patients in transitioning through the healthcare encounter is essential.The RN works to prevent complications or delays.Delegation of interventions to healthcare personnel is based on the Texas Nursing Practice Act.The delegation considers each patient's condition and the competencies of the employee.Weekends may be required.
