eisenhower is seeking a registered nurse for the Medical Surgical 2E unit in California. The role provides direct patient care, requires leadership and collaboration with patients, families, peers, physicians and the health care team.

You will assess needs, plan and evaluate care per hospital standards, and demonstrate professional accountability. Required BSN or MSN or enrollment in RN-BSN/RN-MSN within one year of hire with CA RN licensure and BLS; ACLS and other certifications may be required

Job Objective:

Provides direct patient care, collaborates with patients, families, peers, physicians and other members of the health care team in the delivery of health care services to the specific patient population. Assesses patient's needs, plans care, implements and evaluates patient care in accordance with the patient's needs based on the nurse's knowledge of growth/development, the hospital and nursing philosophy, policies/procedures and standards. Demonstrates leadership skills and a commitment to professional accountability and growth.

  3. Performs initial assessment and completes required documentation within organizational standards.
  4. Performs and documents ongoing assessments including observation, physical examination, laboratory/test results, and patient response to procedural intervention.
