Florida Orthopaedic Institute Surgery Center - Temple Terrace is seeking a Registered Nurse New Grad to join our team. The nurse will provide comprehensive care before, during, and after anesthesia with careful assessment, planning, and discharge preparation to support patient safety and comfort.

The role emphasizes weekday coverage only with no holidays, weekends, nights, or on-call requirements, offering a supportive environment and opportunities for growth in ambulatory surgery nursing.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Active RN license in Florida.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center.
• Ability to make nursing judgments and prioritize workload.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous and quality nursing care for all patients with ongoing evaluation of condition.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms, including conscious sedation and sterile technique.
• Administer care to patients recovering from general anesthesia and/or sedation; plan for discharge.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort and privacy at all times.
