Job summary

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on assessment data, diagnoses, tests, and protocols.
  • Administer medications, manage IV fluids, and coordinate care with the healthcare team.
  • Provide patient and family education, discharge planning, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
  • Recognize and respond to changes in patient conditions, including pain management and abuse assessment.
  • Maintain documentation and communicate patient care and condition updates.
  • Deliver specialized care to high-risk patients, with emphasis on restraint and pain management.
  • Adhere to safety, infection control, and quality standards, including mandatory training and certifications.
  • Promote service excellence through respectful, compassionate communication with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Participate in performance improvement, evidence-based practice, research, and unit-based initiatives.
