Who we serve: We are a 32-bed neurology telemetry unit. We care for a wide variety of patients with various medical and psychosocial needs, making this unit a great place to develop skills and grow your nursing practice. We are a Primary Stroke Center and specialize in providing care to stroke patients. Some of our commonly treated diagnoses include strokes/TIAs, brain and spinal injuries, post-neurological surgeries, drug and alcohol withdrawal, sepsis, and patients requiring telemetry monitoring.


What we are known for: Our unit is known for its teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration. We prioritize high quality; patient centered care and we accomplish this through strong teamwork. Our nursing staff works closely with hospitalists, neurologists, rehab therapists, and social workers to develop each patient's individualized plan of care. We serve as a resource for stroke prevention and stroke education.

Required qualifications:



  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.

  • Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License

  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

  • Within 90 days of hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association

  • Within 90 days of hire: National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course

  • 1-year Nursing experience


Preferred qualifications:



  • Upon hire: National Certification in area of specialty, unless otherwise indicated.
