Job summary

MetroHealth Rehabilitation Institute is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Neuro Trauma Recovery Spinal Cord Injury unit (6N). The role focuses on complex spinal cord injury care, ventilator/trach support, and SCI retraining, with rotating weekends and holidays on a night shift schedule.

Applicants should be Ohio-licensed RNs, capable of patient- and family-centered education, and willing to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a high-acuity inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or a program seeking accreditation.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for spinal cord injury and neuro trauma patients.
• Collaborate with LPNs, PCNAs, and other staff to coordinate care.
• Utilize ventilator/trach care and SCI retraining within the unit.
