Job summary

MetroHealth Rehabilitation Institute- Old Brooklyn is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Neuro Trauma Recovery Spinal Cord Injury unit (6N). This role covers ventilator/trach care, SCI retraining, wound prevention, and rehab education for SCI patients.

Shift is 7p-7a with rotating weekends and holidays; bi-weekly hours total 72. Sign-on bonuses: up to $10,000 for experienced RNs and $5,000 for new grads.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Ohio RN licensure.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Ventilator/Trach Care.
• SCI retraining (Bowel & Bladder management program).
• Wound prevention and care.
• Specialty treatment and technology for regain of function.
• Rehabilitation specific education for patient/family.
