RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
2. Functions within the policies and procedures of the organization, demonstrating professional growth and accountability.
3. Responsible for maintaining standards of practice and coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff to ensure the provision of quality nursing care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Minimum Education: Graduate of a nursing program.
2. Minimum Experience: New graduates of a nursing program are eligible.
3. Licensure/Certification: Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification is required.
4. Additional Qualifications:

• For PRN positions: One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Advanced certification in the field of specialty, if applicable.
