Job summary

Baptist South in Jacksonville seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for Neuro PCU Days. RN experience in Med/Surg, PCU or Critical Care is preferred, with a background in progressive care. New hires are eligible for a $2,500 sign-on bonus and the role requires leadership in patient care planning.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, care coordination, education for patients and families, and collaboration with physicians and hospital staff to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Nursing process with assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Education of patients and families to disease process and plan of care.
• Licensed RN with BLS certification and hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with medical, surgical or other conditions.
• Uphold Baptist South mission and coordinate care with ancillary services.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and plans of care.
• Interact with physicians and other hospital departments.
• Act as patient advocate and participate in staff meetings.
