Cynet Health seeks an RN for Neuro Tele/PCU at a Bridgeton, MO facility for a 13-week travel assignment. Night shift, 12-hour shifts, unit cares for neuro telemetry with 1:4 ratios.

You will manage adult and geriatric patients, coordinate with PT, Respiratory, Social Services, and participate in rapid response as needed. Requires 1 year PCU/Stepdown experience and current RN license; BLS required, ACLS and NIHSS preferred. Weekend and holiday coverage is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of PCU/Stepdown experience required.
• BLS certification mandatory; ACLS and NIHSS preferred.
• RN license must be current.

Responsabilités

• Provide care for neuro telemetry patients in a flexacuity PCU/Stepdown unit at night.
• Maintain 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratios; monitor dysrhythmias and telemetry.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Social Services.
• Travel RN assignment with 13-week duration; weekend and holiday coverage required.
• Floating may be required to other units to meet facility needs.

Description:The position is for a Neuro Tele/Stepdown RN.The nurse will work in a flexacuity unit ranging from PCU/Stepdown to Telemetry.Ratios are 1:4.First-time travelers are accepted.Weekend work is required every other weekend.The role requires working four of the eight holidays specified.Certifications in BLS are mandatory, while ACLS and NIHSS are preferred.Floating may be required to similar units to meet facility needs.The nurse will be responsible for managing patients with neuro step down and telemetry needs.Collaboration with interdisciplinary support services like Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Social Services is expected.Daily census on the unit is approximately 18 patients with a total of 20 beds.Nurses should possess skills in telemetry, dysrhythmia management, and various patient care procedures.The unit provides care for adult and geriatric populations.The environment may involve using rapid response and code teams as needed.
