Qualifications

  • Current RN licensure in Missouri, Illinois, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, or applicable compact state.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills, with a focus on quality care and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Performing thorough assessments, including admission, transfer, post-op, and discharge planning, documenting findings accurately.
  • Developing, coordinating, and evaluating individualized care plans based on assessments, diagnosis, lab data, and physician orders.
  • Providing nursing interventions such as medication administration, patient education, referrals, and assisting with procedures, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  • Monitoring patient conditions, recognizing changes, and implementing appropriate responses; involving family/guardians in care decisions.
  • Delivering specialized care to high-risk patients, including restraint and pain management, while adhering to safety and infection control protocols.
  • Maintaining professional accountability through compliance with standards, policies, and ongoing education; participating in quality improvement and evidence-based practices.
  • Providing age-appropriate care, promoting service excellence, and fostering collaborative teamwork and respectful communication.
  • Ensuring a safe environment by following infection control policies and reporting risks; maintaining equipment and workspaces.
  • Demonstrating excellent communication, empathy, and professionalism with patients, families, and colleagues, supporting a positive and respectful workplace.
