A leading hospital in Memphis is seeking an RN for the Neuro Telemetry unit. This full-time position involves direct patient care, assessment, and supervision of staff to ensure high-quality nursing care. Saint Francis Hospital Memphis is a 510-bed acute care hospital dedicated to providing high quality, compassionate care to the Mid-South community. As a comprehensive medical center, Saint Francis Hospital Memphis features a broad spectrum of tertiary and acute care, outpatient services, and specialty areas including Women’s Services, Surgical Services, Bariatric Center of Excellence, and Behavioral Health. Other acute care areas include Emergency Room, Critical Care, Medical/Surgical, and Telemetry.
This role provides direct clinical patient care. The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis and at the unit level. The role is responsible for supervising staff to whom appropriate care is delegated. It is accountable to support the CNO in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, maintaining the competency of clinical staff, and managing resources related to patient care.
Required: Graduated from a state-approved or accredited nursing school.
Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing.
Required: Must be currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice as required by law, regulation, or policy in the state of practice. CPR certification is also required.
