Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking Registered Nurses for the Neuro Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). Positions are available across all shifts—full-time, part-time, and PRN. This blended unit cares for stroke, post-surgical neuro patients, and EMU patients, offering significant professional growth and a generous sign-on bonus with relocation support.

All RN hires require a Virginia RN license and BLS within 90 days. Experience in neurology or critical care is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN degree required.
• Virginia RN License required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Prior RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care using the nursing process.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, coordinate care and health promotion and evaluation.
• Maintain professional standards and engage in ongoing education and evidence-based practice.
