Job summary

A staffing agency is seeking an experienced Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a role in Albany, NY. The RN will manage high-acuity patients in a trauma and neuro ICU setting. Job Title: Registered Nurse – Neuro ICU/SICU (RN – ICU)

Location: Albany, NY

Duration: 8 Weeks with possible extension

Pay Range: $70 – $75/hr

We are also offering travel and per diem packages that is based on eligibility.

Schedule Notes:

• Work Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift Timing: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  
  

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Travel ICU Registered Nurse with recent background in trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU care. This position involves managing high-acuity patients in a large academic medical center setting. Candidates must have Epic EMR experience and complete a competency test within 24 hours of submission. Must have the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, complex ICU environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide critical care nursing to trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients
• Manage advanced monitoring, ventilators, and hemodynamic drips
• Rapid response to emergencies and life-threatening conditions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary ICU team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Document patient care using Epic EMR
• Ensure compliance with infection control and hospital safety protocols
