We are currently seeking a full‑time RN for the Neurosciences ICU at MGH. If you have experience working with neuro patients, this could be an opportunity for you.

Position Highlights

• Caring for critically ill patients who have a variety of neurological diagnoses including stroke, brain hemorrhage, brain or back surgery, head trauma, or spinal cord injury.
• 22‑bed unit serving an adult population.
• Work alongside a medical team in a challenging, fast‑paced environment to build a professional practice and fulfilling career.
• Unit‑based research efforts include bedside CT scans and other advanced diagnostic services.
• Provide life‑support care as needed, including mechanical ventilation and continuous medication infusions.

Essential Functions

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.

Education

Associate's Degree Nursing required or Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred.

Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No.

Licenses and Credentials

Registered Nurse (RN) – MA State License.

Experience
